The short version
UPLINK collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no server. The app never transmits your data anywhere.
Where your data lives
Everything you create in UPLINK — categories, decks, cards, review history, and settings — is stored locally on your device. It is included in your normal device backups (iCloud or computer backups you control) like any other app's data, and deleted permanently if you delete the app.
Notifications
UPLINK's quiz notifications are local notifications, generated and scheduled entirely on your device. No push server is involved, and notification content never leaves your phone.
CSV export
Exporting your cards creates a file only when you choose to, and it goes only where you send it through the iOS share sheet. UPLINK itself never uploads it.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. UPLINK never sees your payment information.
Third parties
UPLINK contains no third-party SDKs and no analytics frameworks. Its only network communication is with Apple's App Store to check and process the unlock purchase.
Changes
If a future version of UPLINK ever changes any of the above, this policy will be updated here before that version ships, with the effective date revised.
